Lucienne Renaudin Vary — Instrumentalist of the Year
Trumpeter Lucienne Renaudin Vary wins the 2025 Opus Klassik Award for Instrumentalist of the Year with her album Winter Gardens. At just 25, she’s recognised for her exceptional blend of classical and jazz styles, solidifying her place as a leading voice in trumpet performance.

Timothy Ridout & Leia Zhu — Young Talent of the Year
Timothy Ridout and Leia Zhu are announced as joint winners in the 2025 Opus Klassik Young Talent of the Year award. This recognition highlights both artists as standout figures among the next generation of classical musicians, praised not only for their technical mastery but also for their expressive depth and artistic maturity well beyond their years.

Golda Schultz & Pene Pati — Solo Recording Singing of the Year
Golda Schultz and Pene Pati are announced as joint winners in the 2025 Opus Klassik Solo Recording Singing of the Year category for their respective new albums Mozart, You Drive Me Crazy! (Alpha Classics / Outhere) and Nessun Dorma (Warner)

Eldbjørg Hemsing — Video Clip of the Year
Eldbjørg Hemsing receives an Opus Klassik Award in the category Video Clip of the Year for the video accompanying her recording of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Partita Variation, newly arranged by Tim Allhoff for Eldbjørg Hemsing, the Norwegian String Quintet and Tim Allhoff (piano). The video was recorded in Durban, South Africa. It is her second Opus Klassik Award, after winning in the category Classic without Limits for her recording of the concept album Arctic in 2023.
