In his first appearance in the country, Pablo Heras-Casado makes his debut with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra with three performances on 4, 5 and 6 December at the Orchestra’s residence, the Rudolfinum hall. Heras-Casado conducts Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 2 in B Flat Major, Op. 83 and Bruckner’s Symphony No. 4 in E Flat Major, “Romantic”. Francesco Piemontesi is the piano soloist in the Brahms concerto, a work that both conductor and soloist have performed previously together, with the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester in Hamburg last year.
