This week, Sayaka Shoji returns to NHK Symphony Orchestra for two concerts on 21 and 22 June at Suntory Hall, conducted by Gianandrea Noseda. She performs Resphigi’s Concerto Gregoriano. This is her second collaboration with Gianandrea Noseda after successful concerts with Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia.
Soon after her concerts with NHK Symphony Orchestra, she travels to Hamburg to perform at the Martha Argerich Festival with pianist Stephen Kovacevich on 26 June. Future engagements for Sayaka include performances with Symphoniker Hamburg, Israel Philharmonic, and a chamber recital tour with Modigliani Quartet and Benjamin Grosvenor.
