Andrew Foster-Williams performs in a sacred programme of Bach Cantatas with William Christie and Les Arts Florissants in Girona and Beaune on 19 & 22 July respectively.

These performances mark a change of pace for the bass-baritone, who recently completed an acclaimed Ring Cycle as Donner and Gunther under the direction of Richard Farnes, Opera North’s acclaimed Music Director at London’s Royal Festival Hall.

Next season’s commitments continue to highlight this artist’s versatility as Don Pizarro in Beethoven’s Fidelio at the Paris Philharmonie, Don Quichotte for Opéra de Bordeaux and Escamillo (Carmen) for the Bregenz Festival in a new production by Kasper Holten.
