Andrew Foster-Williams joins Orquesta y Coro Nacionales de España and David Afkham for his role debut as Orest in concert performances of Strauss’ epic Elektra on 20 & 22 January.

Balancing his operatic commitments with a busy concert schedule, Foster-Williams’ season also includes Beethoven’s Symphony No.9 with the San Francisco Symphony and Herbert Blomstedt, Bach’s St John Passion with The Cleveland Orchestra and Franz Welser-Möst, and Elgar’s Dream of Gerontius with both the Minnesota Orchestra under Edo de Waart and the Gulbenkian Foundation under Paul McCreesh.
