As Donner in Das Rheingold and Gunther in Die Götterdämmerung, Andrew Foster-Williams appears at London’s Southbank Centre this week in Opera North’s critically-acclaimed Ring Cycle (28 June to 3 July) under Music Director Richard Farnes’ exciting direction.

Relatively new to Wagner’s repertoire, Andrew recently sang Telramund (Lohengrin) under Yannick Nézét-Séguin in Montreal, and will appear in his first staged production of the same piece with La Monnaie. Next season brings a debut at Opéra de Bordeaux as Don Quichotte amid numerous concert engagements including a return to the Cleveland Orchestra under Franz Welser-Möst.
