Pablo Heras-Casado conducts ECHO Klassik 2015 Award Ceremony

On 18 October Pablo Heras-Casado conducts Konzerthausorchester Berlin for the ceremony of the ECHO Klassik Awards. He will be joined by fellow award winners, including Elīna Garanča, David Garrett, Bryan Hymel, Jonas Kaufmann, Andreas Ottensamer, Nemanja Radulović, Maurice Steger and Sonya Yoncheva. The ceremony takes place at Konzerthaus Berlin and is broadcast by German TV station ZDF at 10pm CEST the same night (also available online).
Heras-Casado won in two categories this year: ‘Concert Recording of the Year’ for his recording of Schumann’s Violin Concerto in D minor with Isabelle Faust and Freiburger Barockorchester on harmonia mundi, and ‘Music DVD Recording of the Year’ for Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amoredirected by Rolando Villazón with Balthasar Neumann Choir and Ensemble on Deutsche Grammophon.
Five other HarrisonParrott artists were also awarded a 2015 ECHO Klassik: David Zinman, Paavo Järvi, Christian Tetzlaff and Sophie Pacini.
