Pablo Heras-Casado makes his debut with Israel Philharmonic Orchestra
12/2/2016
On 18 February Pablo Heras-Casado makes his debut with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra conducting eight concerts in the three major cities of Israel — Tel Aviv, Haifa and Jerusalem. Pablo is joined by soloist Emanuel Ax who plays Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.22.
The varied tour programme also includes Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.1 as well as Franck’s Symphonic Variations and the lesser-known Dances from Don Quixote by Spanish composer and pupil of Schoenberg, Roberto Gerhard.
Having already collaborated with Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia (Rome) earlier in February, Ax and Heras-Casado perform together again in March with the New World Symphony, Florida.
