Patrick Hahn makes his Gewandhausorchester Leipzig debut stepping in to replace Mikko Franck on 29 November. The programme includes Dvorak’s Symphony No.9 ​“From the New World” and Sol Gabetta joins in to play Elgar’s Cello Concerto in E minor. This is a benefit concert supporting the »Leipzig hilft Kindern« foundation. Since 1782, the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig has been playing benefit concerts to support the poor and social causes.
