On November 14, the Teatro Real’s resident orchestra Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid perform in concert at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in Beijing, marking its first-ever performance in China. They will be under the baton of Gustavo Gimeno, the Teatro Real’s new Music Director.

The program includes Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5 featuring Javier Perianes; Falla’s El amor brujo; and the Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite.

The concert co-incides with the state to China of King Felipe VI of Spain.
