From 15 November, conductor Kahchun Wong and violinist Akiko Suwanai are set to join The Hallé for their first large scale tour for six concerts across China. Wong will lead the orchestra through programmes of Rachmaninov’s Symphony No.2, Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.5, and Beethoven’s Overture to Egmont, with Suwanai joining for Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto.

The tour concludes with two concerts in Beijing also featuring Beethoven’s Overture to Egmont and Rachmaninov’s Symphony No.2. These concerts are joined by Ning Feng playing Beethoven’s Violin Concerto.
