Under the baton of conductor Hannu Lintu, Timothy Ridout will return to the BBC Symphony Orchestra on 24 October at the Barbican Centre. Ridout plays Schnittke’s Viola Concerto in the first half, with the second half consisting of Shostakovich’s Symphony No.8 in C minor.
