Clarinettist Martin Fröst is performing this summer at two major classical music festivals: Verbier Festival in Switzerland and BBC Proms in London.

At Verbier Festival, he appears on 27 July at Église de Verbier Station. The program includes works by J.S. Bach, Lutosławski, Bartók, and features collaborators such as Marc Bouchkov, Anastasia Kobekina, Brendan Kane, Raphaël Feuillâtre, and Julien Quentin. On 29 July, also at Église de Verbier Station, Fröst takes part in a programme built around Brahms’ clarinet and piano sonatas, together with Lahav Shani. They are joined by Zofia Neugebauer, Marc Bouchkov, Boris Brovtsyn, Timothy Ridout, and Anastasia Kobekina.

On 31 July, Fröst performs at BBC Proms, where he will play with BBC Philharmonic Orchestra at Royal Albert Hall. The programme includes clarinet concertos by Copland and Caroline Shaw under the direction of Joshua Weilerstein.
