Christoph Koncz conducts Mahler Chamber Orchestra on tour this week with concerts in the Konzerthaus Dortmund, Philharmonie Berlin, Musikverein Wien, and Elbphilharmonie Hamburg from 6 – 9 November. They perform Symphony No.4 and No.8 by Schubert, and Britten’s Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings with Andrew Staples and Jose Vicente Castello.

Koncz then travels to Düsseldorf to conduct the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker on 13 November in a programme of Schumann, Brahms, Offenbach, Wagner and Strauss. The concert is moderated by Christian Ehring and explores Rhenish history and culture.
