Aziz Shokhakimov conducts six performances of The Birds, an opera in two acts by Walter Braunfels at Opera National du Rhin. Under Shokhakimov, Chœur de l’Opéra national du Rhin and Orchestre philharmonique de Strasbourg perform the opera on 19, 22, 25, 27, 30 January and move to La Filature, Mulhouse for the final performance on 22 February. 

This will be Shokhakimov’s first opera production with Opera du Rhin as part of his role of Music and Artistic Director of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg.
