On 25 November, Anne Sofie von Otter returns to Elbphilharmonie Hamburg in the opening concert of the newly-created Nordlied Festival, founded with the remit of continuing to push the boundaries of song. Von Otter’s reputation for boundless vocal art sees no limits as she presents an eclectic chamber programme of Lieder, Scandinavian folksongs and wintry pop arrangements, interspersed with experimental voiced sections from Frauke Aulbert.
