On 21 November, Víkingur Ólafsson makes his recital debut at the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid. The program consists of gems from both of his highly appraised albums, Phillip Glass Piano Works and Johann Sebastian Bach. The recital takes place at Sala de Cámara at 19:30.

A few days later, Ólafsson ventures to Switzerland to perform at the Lucerne Piano Festival. The recital takes place at the KKL Lucerne Concert hall at 18:30 on 23 November, and will be a rare opportunity to hear Ólafsson perform both Beethoven sonatas Op. 2 and Op. 111, in addition to his award-winning Johann Sebastian Bach programme.
