Hannu Lintu makes his Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal debut
Hannu Lintu heads to Canada this month for his debut with Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal. He performs alongside another HarrisonParrott artist, German cellist Alban Gerhardt – ‘one of the finest cellists around’ (Guardian) – in the Maison Symphonique de Montréal.
On 20 – 21 November Lintu presents an Eastern European programme of Dvořák’s famous Cello Concerto, Lutosławski’s Symphony No.4 and Janáček’s Sinfonietta. Lintu’s acclaimed recording of Lutosławski’s Symphonies 1 and 4 have been lauded as ‘an unbeatable introduction to Lutosławski’s world’ (BBC Music Magazine, February 2019).
