In commemoration of the centenary of the First World War, Honorary Conductor of the Noord Nederlands Orkest Stefan Asbury returns to the Orchestra this season to conduct Benjamin Britten’s monumental choral work War Requiem.

Asbury and the Orchestra join forces with soloists Catherine Naglestad, Andrew Staples and Daniel Schmutzhard, as well as four Dutch choirs, including the Noord Nederlands Concert Koor and Kampen Boy’s Choir.

The performances take place at De Oosterpoort in Groningen on 8 November and Theater DNK in Assen on 9 November.
