Javier Perianes embarks upon concerto tour to the United States, Venezuela and The Netherlands

This week, Javier Perianes embarks upon a month long concerto tour to the United States, Venezuela and The Netherlands.
The tour starts with performances of Saint-Säens’ Piano Concerto No.5 with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra under Music Director Miguel Harth-Bedoya (12, 13 and 14 February). Perianes then returns to Caracas to perform Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major with Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra and Christian Vásquez (20 February), followed by three concerts with The Florida Orchestra and Music Director Michael Francis (26, 27 and 28 February).
In March Perianes makes his debut with the Boston Symphony Orchestra under Charles Dutoit performing Falla’s Nights in the Gardens of Spain (3, 4 and 5 March). He then performs the same work on 10 March at his Carnegie Hall debut with Pablo Heras-Casado and the Orchestra of St Luke’s. The tour comes to a close when Perianes and Heras-Casado appear together again at Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw on 19 March for Ravel’s Concerto in G major with the Radio Filharmonisch Orkest in the ZaterdagMatinee series.
