Pablo Heras-Casado makes his debut with Wiener Philharmoniker

On 30 January Pablo Heras-Casado makes his debut with the Wiener Philharmoniker, stepping in for Nikolaus Harnoncourt at the 60th annual Mozartwoche Salzburg.
The all-Mendelssohn concert at the Grosses Festspielhaus includes The Fair Melusine Overture, Wie der Hirsch schreit and Symphony No.3. Pablo is joined by soprano Dorothea Röschmann, tenors Werner Güra and Dániel Árvai, and basses Matthias Winckhler and Marcell Attila Krokovay as well as the Arnold Schoenberg Choir for the performance.
A regular guest at the Mozartwoche, Pablo makes another appearance at the festival conducting the Camerata Salzburg, Salzburger Bachchor and soloists Christiane Karg (soprano), Alice Coote (mezzosoprano), Werner Güra (tenor) and Christopher Maltman (baritone) in Mendelssohn’s Elijah at the Haus für Mozart on 26 January.
