This week soprano Klara Ek collaborates with the Trondheim Symfoniorkester and its Principal Guest Conductor Han-Na Chang for the first time, performing Berg’s Sieben frühe Lieder and Mahler’s Symphony No.4 with them on 19 November.

An excellent exponent of the Mahler in particular, Klara has performed the work with the London and Chicago Symphony Orchestras under Bernard Haitink, the Los Angeles Philharmonic under Gustavo Dudamel, and most recently with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales at the BBC Proms under Thomas Søndergård. Elsewhere this season, Klara performs Carmina Burana with Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg and returns to Mahler’s Symphony No.4 at the Annecy Classic Festival this summer.
