Hannu Lintu conducts the New Japan Philharmonic in two concerts at Triphony Hall featuring the music of Sibelius on 7 and 10 October. These concerts mark the start of a complete cycle of Sibelius’ symphonies that Lintu conducts in Tokyo this autumn.

In the first concert, on 7 October, Lintu conducts Symphonies Nos.2, 3 and 4, while on 10 October he conducts Sibelius’ tone poem The Oceanidesand Symphonies Nos.1 and 6.

Lintu completes the symphony cycle on 2 November as part of a tour of Japan with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra and violinist Akiko Suwanai.
