Pablo Heras-Casado appears at ‘Klassik am Odeonsplatz’

On 11 July Pablo Heras-Casado joins the Symphonieorchester und Chor des Bayerischen Rundfunks and violinist Julia Fischer for an open-air concert as part of the ‘Klassik am Odeonsplatz’ in Munich.
The concert is broadcast live online, on Bayerischen Fernsehen and BR-Klassik radio, and features de Falla’s El sombrero de tres picosand excerpts from La Vida Breve, Debussy’s Ibéria, Ravel’s Alborada del Gracioso and Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No.2.
Heras-Casado regularly appears with the Symphonieorchester des Bayerische Rundfunks in concert, and will conduct the orchestra again in October 2015. Their previous collaboration can also be heard on a recording featuring Mendelssohn’s Symphony No.2, released in 2014 on the Harmonia Mundi label.
