Pablo Heras-Casado returns to London Symphony Orchestra
22/6/2015

After his successful debut last season, Pablo Heras-Casado returns to the London Symphony Orchestra to conduct Sibelius’ Violin Concerto and Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique. The concert takes place at the Barbican on 28 June, when Heras-Casado is joined by Joshua Bell as soloist, closing the LSO’s International Violin Festival.
The Times commented on last year’s debut: “Heras-Casado made a strong impression… he is a conductor who knows when to let his musicians off the leash and when to haul them back in.” He will return to Orchestra again in January 2016, this time with cellist Alisa Weilerstein.
