Pablo Heras-Casado returns to the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden to lead three performances of Verdi’s La traviata, on 22, 25 and 29 May. The new production, directed by Rolando Villazón with set designs by Johannes Leiacker, features a main cast of Olga Peretyatko as Violetta, Atalla Ayan as Alfredo, and Ludovic Tézier as Germont – supported by the Balthasar-Neumann Chor and Ensemble.

Heras-Casado previously conducted Villazon’s production of L’elisir d’amore at Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, which was released on DVD by Deutsche Grammophon.
