We are delighted to announce that mezzo-soprano Jamie Barton has been named as the winner of the 2015 Richard Tucker Award by the Richard Tucker Music Foundation.

The prestigious annual prize is awarded to an American singer deemed to be on the brink of a major international career, and Jamie follows in the footsteps of previous winners such as Renée Fleming and Joyce DiDonato. 

Barry Tucker, President of the Foundation, commented ​“Jamie has a once-in-a-generation voice, we are absolutely elated that she is our winner”.
