Susanna Mälkki makes her debut with The Cleveland Orchestra

This week Susanna Mälkki makes her debut with The Cleveland Orchestra at Severance Hall on 23 and 25 April and at Oberlin College on 24 April.
Mälkki conducts the orchestra in Sibelius’ The Oceanides, Stravinsky’s Petrushka and Bartók’s Piano Concerto No.3 with Jeremy Denk, with whom Mälkki performed the same piece earlier this season with the San Francisco Symphony.
Other US performances for Mälkki this season have included her debut with The Philadelphia Orchestra and a return to Los Angeles Philharmonic, while later in the season she will make her debut with the New York Philharmonic.
