Hannu Lintu returns to the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin on 7 March to conduct a programme featuring Christian Tetzlaff as soloist in Szymanowski’s Violin Concerto and Jörg Widmann​’s Insel der Sirenen.

A regular guest with the orchestra, on this visit Lintu also conducts two works by his compatriot Sibelius: Symphony No.7 and the tone poem The Oceanides.

The dates follow Lintu’s appearance with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, where he conducted the orchestra in two concerts featuring Berlioz’ Symphonie fantastique and works by James MacMillan and Sibelius.
