Following a highly successful debut last season Pablo Heras-Casado returns to the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra for four concerts in Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

Heras-Casado conducts a programme featuring Sibelius’ Symphony No.2 in Amsterdam on 12, 13 & 16 February and Rotterdam on 15 February; Janine Jansen is soloist in Szymanowski’s Violin Concerto No.1 and the concerts open with Shostakovich’s Festive Overture.

The programme will be recorded for broadcast on Netherlands Radio 4.
