“I really like to go to extremes, I don’t shy away from risks and try to put everything into the one moment on stage”, is how cellist Friedrich Thiele describes his music making. HarrisonParrott is pleased to announce that this exciting musician has joined its roster for general management. Widely regarded as one of his generation’s most outstanding young cellists, Thiele has received numerous national and international awards, including Second Prize, Audience Prize, and the Prize for Best Interpretation of the Commissioned Work at the 2019 ARD International Music Competition.

He has performed as a soloist with major orchestras such as Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, Staatskapelle Dresden, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Riga Sinfonietta, Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, and Orchestra of the National Theatre in Brasilia. His appearances include top concert halls such as Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie and Laeiszhalle, Konzerthaus Berlin and Munich’s Herkulessaal.
