Tabita Berglund makes Cincinnati debut and returns to the Dallas Symphony

Tabita Berglund returns to the US this week to make her debut with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra in two concerts at Cincinnati Music Hall on 5 and 6 February. Joined by soloist Camilla Tilling for Mahler’s Rückert-Lieder, she also conducts Anna Thorvaldsdottir’s ARCHORA and concludes the programme with Mahler’s Symphony No.4 with Camilla Tilling as the Soprano. Tabita then journeys on to Dallas, with concerts on 12 to 15 February at Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center. She premiers Sophia Jani’s Concerto for Violin and Orchestra with violinist Melissa White; she also leads the players in Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture and Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances.
