Ksenija Sidorova makes her Carnegie Hall solo recital debut
31/10/2025
On 5 November, Ksenija Sidorova makes her Carnegie Hall recital debut at Weill Recital Hall as part of the Distinctive Debuts series.
The programme features original works for the accordion and arrangements by Philip Glass, J.S. Bach, Sergey Akhunov, Gabriela Montero, Fazil Say, Albéniz, Piazzolla, Franck Angelis, Sergei Voitenko, Alexey Arkhipovsky, and Alfred Schnittke. It truly explores the expressive range of the classical accordion across centuries of repertoire, from Baroque to contemporary.
Sidorova tours that solo programme at Palais Montcalm in Québec City, as part of the Club musical de Québec series — in collaboration with the Carrefour mondial de l’accordéon — on 3 November, and at Prager Family Center for the Arts in Easton, as part of Gabriela Montero at Prager series on 8 November.
