Bach Collegium Japan will participate in Shanghai International Arts Festival, under Founder and Music Director Masaaki Suzuki, performing one concert on 2 November, at Shanghai Concert Hall. This marks the orchestra’s debut in China, with a selected all-Bach programme of Orchestral Suites No.3 (BWV 1068) , Concerto for 2 Violins in D minor (BMV 1043) and Der Streit zwischen Phoebus und Pan (BWV 201) joined by star soloists including Joanne Lunn and Shimon Yoshida.
