Japanese violinist Akiko Suwanai returns to the Budapest Festival Orchestra at the start of October to perform Saint-Saëns Concerto for Violin No.3 under the baton of Jaime Martín. These concerts follow a busy start to the season in which Suwanai has returned to the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester /​Duncan Ward and made her debut with the Mozarteumorchester Salzburg / Andrey Boreyko and Orquesta Sinfonica de Tenerife / Andrea Marcon. Suwanai will reunite with Martín later in the season for a Spanish tour with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
