As she continues her two-season residency with the Gothenburg Symphony, Ava Bahari returns to the orchestra on 24 and 25 September for performances of Paul Hindemith’s Violin Concerto. 

Bahari’s engagement with the Gothenburg Symphony also sees her reunite with conductor Jaime Martín, having last collaborated in September 2024 for a performance of Beethoven’s Violin Concerto. The programme also features Kodály’s Dances of Galanta and Antonin Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8.

Bahari returns to the orchestra later this year in December, teaming up with Andreas Brantelid for two performances of Brahms’ Double Concerto for Violin and Cello, under the baton of Pekka Kuusisto.
