
Pablo Heras-Casado awarded Spain’s Premio Nacional de Música 2025

Pablo Heras-Casado has been honoured with the Premio Nacional de Música 2025, one of Spain’s most prestigious cultural awards, granted by the Ministry of Culture. The award recognises Pablo’s outstanding contribution to musical interpretation. His artistic vision, versatility, and unwavering commitment to excellence continue to inspire audiences and colleagues around the world.
The jury highlighted “the undeniable scope of his international career, with regular invitations to the most prestigious orchestras and concert halls around the world,” as well as his role as the first Spanish conductor to be invited three times to the Bayreuth Festival — one of the most significant milestones in his recent career.
The Premio Nacional de Música, celebrates artistic excellence and commitment to musical culture in Spain. In this edition, composer Francisco Coll has also been awarded in the Composition category.
