On September 11, Conductor Stephanie Childress makes her debut with the LA Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl, where she leads the orchestra and Dance Theatre of Harlem in a programme of both Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky’s Romeo & Juliet, and Adolphus Hailstork’s Symphony No. 1. This appearance is the latest in a series of recent debuts with US orchestras, including San Francisco, Houston, and San Diego Symphony Orchestras, as well as The Juilliard School.
