Sol Gabetta will take part in a landmark concert marking the return of the Olympic cauldron to the Tuileries Gardens in Paris as one of the few classical artists in a lineup featuring some of France’s most popular musicians. This event serves as the grand finale of the inaugural France Music Week and will be broadcast live in prime time on France 2 on 21 June. The spectacular celebration of music and culture, organised by the Centre National de la Musique and supported by the Ministry of Culture, will be held in the historic Louvre Gardens und honours the iconic Olympic cauldron’s flight above the Tuileries.
