Masaaki Suzuki makes his debut with the Monteverdi Choir and English Baroque Soloists in a project marking 300 years since J.S. Bach’s 1725 cantatas, written during his time in Leipzig. 

“This collaboration is both humbling and exhilarating…” said Suzuki. ​“I look forward to the energy, the insight, and the surprises we will discover together.” This marks the first time Suzuki works with the Monteverdi ensembles, who have performed Bach’s music worldwide for over six decades.

The concert is taking place in London on 19 June at St Martin-in-the-Fields.
