Lawrence Renes makes his debut with Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia on 22 May, conducting George Benjamin’s Written on Skin. Directed by Ben Davis, Renes has previously led this production at the Holland Festival and the Beijing Music Festival. The cast in Rome includes Liv Redpath, Mark Stone, Judith Thielsen, Raffaele Pe and Leonardo Cortellazzi, and two further performances are scheduled on 23 and 24 May.
