
Ava Bahari Selected for 2026 – 27 ECHO Rising Stars Programme

HarrisonParrott is delighted to announce that Swedish violinist Ava Bahari has been selected for the prestigious ECHO Rising Stars 2026/27 concert season. Following nominations from Konserthuset Stockholm, Cité de la Musique – Philharmonie de Paris and NOSPR Katowice, this recognition underscores her exceptional artistry, fast-growing presence in Sweden and her increasingly international profile.
Bahari made her debut at the age of eight in Gothenburg’s Concert Hall and has since performed with esteemed ensembles such as the Gothenburg Symphony, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, Tokyo and BBC Scottish Symphony orchestras and the Helsinki Philharmonic. Her accolades include top prizes at the Premio Paganini Competition and Concours International Tibor Varga. As of the 2024 – 2025 season, she is Artist-in-Residence with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, having opened their season with Chief Conductor Santtu-Mattias Rouvali, performing Stravinsky’s Violin Concerto.
Under the ECHO Rising Stars programme, Bahari will perform across Europe’s leading concert halls, engage in educational initiatives, and collaborate with a composer of her choice to commission a new work.
