Matilda Lloyd kicks off her 24/25 season as one of the ECHO Rising Stars, nominated by the Barbican Centre London and Konserthuset Stockholm. She presents various recital programmes on some of Europe’s most prestigious stages, being joined by pianists Jonathan Ware and Kunal Lahiry and organist Richard Gowers. 

On her first ECHO recital on 27 October at NOSPR in Katowice, Matilda Lloyd gives the world premiere of a new sonata for trumpet and piano by Dani Howard, entitled Continuum. The 15-minute work was commissioned by the Barbican Centre through the ECHO programme. Continuum receives further performances as Matilda Lloyd tours the programme across the UK and Europe throughout the 2024/25 season.
