Aude Extrémo — ​“the most exhilarating French mezzo of her generation” (Opera Online) — opens her 2024/25 season in Paris in two productions. Firstly as Suzuki, in Robert Wilson’s production of Madama Butterfly under Speranza Scappucci opening on 14 September, and later in the season as Maddalena in Claus Guth’s production of Rigoletto conducted by Domingo Hindoyan opening on 1 December.

A laureate of the Atelier Lyrique at Opéra national de Paris, Extrémo has a longstanding history with the house, including recent debuts as both Ursule in Béatrice et Bénédict and Anna in Dmitri Tcherniakov’s production of Les Troyens under Philippe Jordan.
