Conductor Kent Nagano receives Brahms Prize

This year’s Brahms Prize has been awarded to the renowned conductor Kent Nagano, announced by the Brahms Society Schleswig-Holstein in Heide (Dithmarschen district).
The California-born maestro has been General Music Director and Chief Conductor of the Hamburg State Opera and General Music Director of Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra since 2015. The Brahms Prize, will be officially presented on 29 September at St Bartholomew’s Church in Wesselburen.
