Lionel Bringuier appointed Principal Conductor of Nice Philharmonic Orchestra

Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice, President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, Deputy President of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, and Bertrand Rossi, General Director of the Nice Côte d’Azur Opera, have the pleasure to announce the appointment of Lionel Bringuier as Principal Conductor of Nice Philharmonic Orchestra. Lionel will succeed Daniele Callegari for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons, who has held this position since September 2021.

“I can no longer count the number of performances that Lionel Bringuier has shared alongside the musicians of the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra, as an associated artist since 2019, offering the public great musical moments. I thank him for his loyalty and for sharing his passion with our Orchestra with the same enthusiasm for years.
