Jean-Efflam Bavouzet returns to Seattle Symphony Orchestra
Jean-Efflam Bavouzet returns to Seattle Symphony on 12, 13, and 14 January at Benaroya Hall as conductor and soloist in a programme devoted to classical piano concertos. Included in this programme is Haydn’s Keyboard Concerto in F Major, Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.2, and Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.26.
Bavouzet then travels to New York to give a masterclass at the Manhattan School of Music on 17 January and then to the Jacob’s School of Music, Indiana University for a masterclass and recital on 20 January.
The performance on 20 January will be broadcast live on Detroit’s WRCJ radio. Additionally, the performance on 21 January will be streamed lived on the orchestra’s DSO Live website and Facebook page. The stream begins at 19:45EST, and you can catch the performance for free here.
