Rossini, Tchaikovsky and Strauss : Three debuts at Garsington Opera
This summer, three HarrisonParrott artists take on exciting new roles as part of Garsington Opera’s 2021 season. Hanna Hipp sings her first Octavian in a new staging of Der Rosenkavalier by Bruno Ravella, Jonathan McGovern debuts in the brooding title role of Eugene Onegin under Dougie Boyd, and Jack Swanson appears as Rossini’s farcical Le comte Ory, conducted by Valentina Peleggi.
All three artists have featured regularly in past editions of the Festival and look forward to brighter 2021/22 seasons.
