Anne Sofie von Otter gives two performances this week as part of the 2020 Tivoli Festival in Copenhagen, marking her first international engagement since the Coronavirus crisis. For their Opening Concert on 17 August, she sings Brahms’ Liebeslieder Walzer and a selection of solo Lieder accompanied by Malcolm Martineau, then on 18 August a programme of folksongs in a new collaboration with The Danish String Quartet. Both concerts will be livestreamed on the Festival’s website.
