Jiří Rožen makes his London debut with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
JIŘÍ ROŽEN debuts in London this week, conducting Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Cadogan Hall on 3 October. Jiří and the orchestra are joined by RPO’s Artist in Residence Kian Soltani performing Elgar’s Cello Concerto. The rest of the programme (to be repeated on the 5th of October in High Wycombe’s Swan Theatre with Laura van der Heijden as soloist) features evergreen Czech classics, Smetana’s Vlatva (The Moldau) and Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8. In 2019/20 Jiří continues to boost his presence in the UK conducting the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hallé Orchestra later this season.
